INDIANAPOLIS, Ind. - The NCAA Division I Men's Golf Committee announced today the teams and individuals to participate in the regional rounds of the 2024 NCAA Division I Men's Golf Championships.
For San Francisco, Jakob Melin was selected as the third-seeded individual for the Stanford Regional, which will be hosted by Stanford University at Stanford Golf Course from Monday, May 13 through Wednesday, May 15.
Notably, Melin earned his first taste at postseason golf last year when San Francisco was selected as a No. 8 seed for the Las Vegas Regional in 2023. Helping the Dons set a new program record of 45-under, Melin tied for 14th in his first NCAA postseason tournament as he finished at 11-under-205 at Bear's Best Las Vegas.
