SOUTH SAN FRANCISCO, Calif. — After setting the single season program home run record for Saint Mary's this week, Christian Almanza has been named one of the WCC Co-Players of the Week. This is Christian's third time winning this award this season, and the fourth of his career.
It was a historic week for Christian Almanza, to say the least. He entered the week needing three home runs to tie the SMC single season home record and four to break it. He got his three home runs in the series opener against SCU, and picked up the record breaking home run in the finale.
