The Philadelphia Eagles cut the following four players on Monday, according to the NFL’s official transaction report:
- DT Noah Elliss
- WR/TE Griffin Hebert
- CB Tiawan Mullen
- OL Lecitus Smith
They are all subject to waivers, so, we’ll soon see if they get claimed.
All four players were fighting uphill battles to make the 53-man roster. Elliss may have had the best chance to make the team since the Eagles could some use more depth at nose tackle. But apparently not.
Prior to these cuts, the Eagles had 78 players on their roster (including Mekhi Becton, who OFFICIALLY signed on Monday) .
