COLUMBIA, Mo. — Add another in-state recruit to Eli Drinkwitz's recruiting hot streak.
Daeden Hopkins, a four-star edge rusher from Hermann, verbally committed to Mizzou on Tuesday afternoon, becoming the third 2025 prospect from Missouri to decide to stay home.
Hopkins is listed at 6-foot-6, 210 pounds. He's listed as a four-star prospect by On3 and ESPN. Those services, along with 247Sports, tab him as one of the five best recruits in the state.
He played on both sides of the ball for the Bearcats last season. As a wide receiver, he recorded 691 yards and 11 touchdowns last year.
