MURFREESBORO, Tenn. — No. 37-ranked Middle Tennessee men's tennis has earned the 3-seed in the Starkville Regional in the 2024 NCAA Tournament and will take on 2-seed/Georgia Tech in the first round.
The first round match against 2-seed/No. 27 Georgia Tech will be played on Friday, May 3.
The Blue Raiders will be joined by the 1-seed/No. 16 Mississippi State, 2-seed/No. 27 Georgia Tech and the 4-seed Alabama State.
Earlier in the season on Feb. 2, MTSU defeated Mississippi State 4-3 in Murfreesboro. The Blue Raiders traveled to the Starkville Regional last season where they reached the second round but fell short to Mississippi State 4-2.
