HARDEEVILLE, S.C. -- The Creighton men's golf program had its best showing ever at the BIG EAST Championship, taking third as a team, with senior Shaun Campbell finishing as runner-up on Monday at Riverton Pointe Golf and Country Club in Hardeeville, S.C.
The Bluejays shot a 3-under round of 285 on Monday, its best round at the league championships since joining the BIG EAST in 2013. Coupled with its rounds of 298 and 296, that 879 total placed the Jays third of 10 teams, just seven shots behind Seton Hall (292-292-288=872) and Butler (295-291-291=877).
